GENTRI & FRIENDS - 2:00 PM Matinee Show

GENTRI, the Gentlemen Trio, are excited to return this Christmas season with a special holiday show, ‘Tis the Season - A Christmas Concert with GENTRI & Friends, live at Maverik Center on December 5^th. Two socially distanced performances (2pm & 8pm) will feature GENTRI alongside special guests Mat and Savanna Shaw, Jay Warren, and Nick Johnson.

An established Utah Christmas tradition, GENTRI is back for another holiday season! With a show specifically designed to be possible with new performance regulations, The Gents are sure to add to the spirit of the season with their signature cinematic pop sound and stirring renditions of the most beloved and timeless Christmas songs of all time. The performance will feature your favorite carols brought to life with epic orchestrations, lush harmonies, and moving storytelling. GENTRI’s Christmas albums have topped multiple Billboard charts as well as the iTunes top-10 holiday chart alongside names like Michael Bublé and Pentantonix. You won’t want to miss this fantastic presentation of musical Christmas magic.

GENTRI will be joined by Mat and Savanna Shaw, a daddy-daughter duet known for their inspirational singing videos on YouTube. After posting a singing video meant only for friends and family during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mat and Savanna quickly gained a viral worldwide following. Their videos have amassed millions of views and their music has charted in multiple countries. They have also been featured on Good Morning America, Inside Edition, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. In addition to Mat and Savanna, Jay Warren and Nick Johnson will share the stage for this special holiday concert. Jay Warren, known for his silky-smooth vocals, recently became the first Utah recording artist to reach No. 1 on the iTunes R&B chart. Warren was also recently featured in a GENTRI music video reprising the beloved classic “Because You Loved Me”. Nick Johnson has become a fan-favorite known for his unique finger-style guitar playing that concert goers have come to love in GENTRI’s past holiday shows.

COVID-19 Safety Requirements at Maverik Center

• If you are sick or show any symptoms of COVID-19 or if you have been exposed to anyone with the virus, please STAY HOME! 
• Face coverings are required for all guests while in the arena and during the performance – patrons may temporarily remove their coverings while actively eating or drinking
• Six-foot social distancing will be enforced in the elevators (limited capacity), lobby, restrooms, concourse, and seating area*
• Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the building
• Sanitizing of high touch points will be done throughout the event (elevators, railings, concourse areas, concessions, etc.)
• Prior to each performance, the arena public spaces are cleaned and sanitized
