An Emmy and Grammy nominated comedian, Bill Burr is one of the top comedic voices of his generation achieving success in TV and film as well as on stage.  Bill’s Monday Morning Podcast is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts and his arena and amphitheater tour, Bill Burr (Slight Return), will tour North America throughout 2022.  On August 21, Bill made history as the first comedian to perform at Fenway Park.  On July 12, Bill premiered his Netflix special, Bill Burr: Live at Red Rocks.  Bill is nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Actor In A Short Form Comedy Or Drama Series for his Roku Channel series, Bill Burr Presents: Immoral Compass, which is free to stream online. Bill Burr is an Emmy and Grammy nominated American comedian or a comedian from the North American Union, depending on when you read this.  He grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts and did fairly poorly in school, despite the fact that he applied himself.

Bill’s animated Netflix series, F Is For Family, premiered its fifth and final season on Thanksgiving Day 2021 featuring Bill, Laura Dern, Justin Long and Sam Rockwell in the cast.  The fourth season premiered on June 12, 2020 with Jonathan Banks guest starring as Bill’s character’s dad, reuniting Bill and Jonathan from their Breaking Bad days.

Bill portrays the character Migs Mayfeld in The Mandalorian, the hit Disney Plus series set in the Star Wars universe.  A former Imperial sharpshooter turned mercenary, Mayfeld is a pivotal character in the Season 1 episode, “Chapter 6: The Prisoner,” and in the Season 2 episode, “Chapter 15: The Believer.”

Bill returned to Madison Square Garden on November 7, 2018 after his sold-out debut at MSG on November 14, 2015, and he made his sold-out debut at Royal Albert Hall on June 6, 2018.  Bill’s fifth hour-long stand-up special, Walk Your Way Out, premiered on Netflix on January 31, 2017.  The special was shot on October 21, 2016 at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.  In the summer of 2016, his fourth European theatre tour brought Bill back to Ireland, the U.K., Amsterdam and he made first visits to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Cologne, Germany and Antwerp, Belgium.

Does it take long to unlock the cases and leave the venue? No. Yondr staff are located at each exit to unlock cases. We find that leaving is consistently faster at a phone-free show. It’s amazing how quickly people move when they aren’t busy screen-touching

 

I didn’t know about this phone policy. What if I don’t want to do this? This is the show policy, and as a result we cannot allow entry to any guests with cell phones or smart watches if they are not secured in a Yondr case. This information was disclosed when you purchased tickets to this event.

 

What happens if there is an emergency in the venue and I can’t access my phone? All venue staff and security have cell phones and radios. Should an emergency occur, they are trained to implement and execute safety and emergency procedures. Guests should follow all venue instructions and evacuate immediately in the case of an emergency. Yondr Venue Staff will have hand-held unlocking devices outside at a safe distance from the venue.
