The Lewis Feild Bulls & Broncs makes its return to Maverik Center for the third straight year for one night only! Don’t miss your chance to see America’s Original Extreme Sport featuring top cowboys from around the world testing their grit in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and bull riding and honoring Utah’s greatest cowboy, the late Lewis Feild.

The sport’s top athletes will showcase their power and grit aboard world class stock for a share of over $135,000 and the opportunity to qualify for the Days of ’47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo in July. This will also serve as a World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) Semifinal event. The top eight in the bareback and saddle bronc will advance for their chance at $1 million at the WCRA Royal City Roundup in Kansas City, Feb. 28, 2020. The top four in the bull riding will also advance to the WCRA’s $1M event at the Sprint Center.

“Days of ’47 is proud to partner with the WRCA to bring a huge money rodeo event to the Salt Lake Valley,” said Tommy Joe Lucia, Days of ’47 General Manager. “World Champion cowboys coupled with award winning livestock and just under $150,000 at stake plus a shot at another $1M in Kansas City equals one heck of a rodeo.”

The night will feature 12 contestants in each of the three events with the top two per event returning for a sudden-death final round to determine the 2020 champions. With free pony rides for the kids preshow, hilarious clowns and good family fun, make this your winter western escape. Spend the weekend and enjoy all the Great Salt Lake Valley has to offer including world class skiing.

The event honors the late ProRodeo Hall of Fame cowboy Lewis Feild. Feild was Utah’s own two-time PRCA World Champion Bareback Rider and three-time All-Around Champion, who continues to be an icon in the sport of rodeo and the Beehive State. His son, Kaycee Feild carries on his legacy having won four PRCA world titles in the bareback riding and will be competing in his tenth Wrangler National Finals Rodeo this December in Las Vegas.
